The most important question is often simply skipped.
Many companies introduce AI tools because everyone else does. Then it becomes just another tool running on the side. AI models only really make a difference when they fit a direction: where do we want to be in 3 years, and how can AI models help us get there?
AI models change more than individual tasks
They change roles, responsibilities and the way people work together. Anyone who ignores this gets uncertainty in the team instead of relief.
3 questions to find out where you stand
- Could 3 of your employees say what you want to use AI models for?
- Have you talked about how roles will change with AI models?
- Who drives the topic in your company, and does that person actually have time for it?
Direction first, then the tool
Once it is clear where you want to go, it also becomes clear which processes are worth improving. That is what part 3 is about. 🧭
